Every music service has some way to build a playlist with other people, and all of them assume your whole group is on that service, paying for it. Groups of friends rarely work out that neatly.
Start a playlist. All it needs is a name, and there's nothing to sign up for.
Send the link. Anyone who opens it can search and add songs. Any phone, any browser, no app to install.
Export it when you're ready. Send it straight into an Apple Music library, or download the song list and import it into Spotify, YouTube Music, or whatever else your group uses.
The parts people like most
You can see who added what. Every song is credited to the person who picked it, and an activity feed shows everything as it happens. Anyone can react to any of it with emoji.
You shuffle it here, before it leaves. The playlist exports in the order you shuffled it into, so you can press play and go — rather than handing a fixed order to your music service and hoping its shuffle does something sensible.
Or shuffle so everyone gets heard. A second kind of shuffle spreads each person's picks evenly through the playlist. It's still random, but one person's five songs won't all land in the first ten while someone else's sit at the bottom.

Do I need Apple Music?
No. You'd only need it to export the finished playlist directly into an Apple Music library, and even then it's only the person doing that export. Building, adding songs and reacting never require any music service.
Do I need an account?
No. A name is optional. Signing in only makes your playlists follow you between devices.
What if nobody in my group is on Apple Music?
You can still build the whole thing here, then download the song list and import it into Spotify, YouTube Music, Tidal or most other services with a tool like TuneMyMusic or Soundiiz.
Who can edit my playlist?
Anyone with the link can add, remove and reorder — only you can rename or delete it. Share it with people you trust.
No account needed — you (and anyone you share with) can add songs right away.
Saved in this browser on this device — clearing your browser data (cache/site data) will clear this history. The playlists themselves aren't deleted; you can still reach any of them with its share link.
